In a 2008 speech on race, Barack Obama described a “racial stalemate” and suggested that, if we proceeded to do nothing differently, nothing would change. Eight years later, the stalemate remains. To help us move forward, facilitators will engage participants in a “racial healing” experience that invites storytelling, vulnerability, and deep listening.
